Maia is the Office Manager at JUV and a college graduate from W&J College where she majored in Communication Arts and Psychology. On campus, Maia served as the Social Media Chair for both the Black Student Union and Advocates for Sexual Assault Prevention. In addition to this, she was an active member of the Charles West Scholar Program where she mentored black underclassmen.
Maia also worked as a marketing and editorial intern both for her university and the non-profit PublicSource, where she used her writing to speak out against injustices happening both on and off her campus. Her experience as a writer and radio host has led her to start her own podcast, speaking on her life experiences as a young Black woman, trying to find her place in the Big Apple.
At JUV, Maia’s excited to help the team amplify the voice of Generation Z. She strongly believes that those who are underrepresented need to be heard the most and loves that her work combines so many of her passions.
