⏫ Communal spirit stops fairground ride injuries!
This viral video appeared on Gen Z’s feed – a fairground ride in Michigan started jumping, bystanders who noticed it would fall back and injure the people on it ran to hold it down one by one. The heartwarming video really serves as a metaphor for Gen Z’s feeling of solidarity!
⏫ Superstar CK model talks male body dysmorphia
Shawn Mendes opened up about feeling like he ‘couldn’t live up’ aesthetically to the person he saw on his Calvin Klein ads, feeling bouts of imposter syndrome. How refreshing to hear a Gen Z icon speaking up about an under-discussed topic, especially among men!
⏫ This Spelling Bee champ is a Gen Z ‘First’!
14-year-old Zaila Avant-garde won the Spelling Bee this week. The Gen Zer is the first African-American to win the title and we couldn’t be more proud!
⏬ Gen Z rating Mom creps!
TikTokers are currently sharing and rating their moms’ crep game – are you safe from your Gen Z kids, niece/nephew or grandkids’ wrath? Probably not!
⏬ Nintendo fails to really ‘Switch it up’ with new console!
Nintendo announced their new Switch console to the sound of disappointment. Their new model includes no major upgrade bar a new OLED screen and supposed ‘enhanced audio’, but it’s authentically Nintendo so that could count for something?!
⏬ Addison Rae fired from this gig after tweeting this..
This week, Addison Rae hosted the UFC Red Carpet as she tweeted out: ‘I studied broadcast journalism in college for 3 whole months to prepare for this moment’. Only internet people were mad (as per!) that it should’ve gone to someone who earned their degree and had more of a right to be there – it seems UFC agreed!
